Does Table Salt Kill Black Mold?
Table salt has been suggested as an alternative for killing black mold because it can dehydrate a target area. However, Michael Rubino, a mold and air quality expert, says, “Table salt does not kill black mold. The ability of salt to fully dehydrate the mold is inconsistent in the first place, making it unreliable overall.””
